We take Data protection and client confidentiality very seriously at Espressopedia and as such have strict procedures in place to comply with legislation. Here is what we know about you if you have made a purchase or filled out a contact form:

Your personal details including name, address, email, telephone numbers and the products you have purchased. 

This is how we use your information:
Your data stored within the website's private database, on password-protected excel files and using Mailchimp's database system. Paper receipts of postage with names and addresses on are kept in a locked filing cabinet for 12 months before being destroyed.  The data is used to process your orders and send you your purchases and occasionally we may send you Espressopedia news and offers by email. 

We do not store any card details or payment history. All payments are taken through Paypal who do not share your payment details with Espressopedia - only your email address. 

We do not use any third parties except Mailchimp, Paypal and Evri (formerly MyHermes) or similar delivery methods.
We do not share or sell your information to third parties.
We do not send spam.

From time to time we will send a marketing email with new services/products, special offers or discounts that may be of interest to you. If you no longer wish to be contacted by us, no problem, here is how you can disconnect from Espressopedia:
Email shop@espressopedia.co.uk with your full name and request to be removed from our database. We will delete our electronic files, destroy any paper files and remove you from our mailing list.

Data Protection: 
Under the principles of the Data Protection Act we would like to inform you that we hold a record of all the details we need for setting you up and servicing you as a customer. This includes special delivery instructions and dietary requirements if applicable. This information may also be used as a basis for sending you information we think will interest you. Should you wish not to be included in this please tick the opt-out box at the point of ordering. However we need the information on file to service you as a customer. If our records of your name, address, telephone number or any other special information are in any way inaccurate please let us know as we want to maintain up to date records.
